The Fremont Michigan Chapter of the Harley Owners Group is a riding club open to anyone who owns a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. We organize rides and events throughout the year, including rides for new and prospective members, weekday lunch rides, and longer tours. Todd M. has come up with a great list of shops for this year’s Ice Cream Game! The game begins Friday, May 16, and ends Saturday, September 27, 2025. You don’t have to eat at every location – but at least stop – and Facebook photos are appreciated. Bring your completed form to the September Chapter Social Gathering (9/28). First prize will be drawn from completed forms; second prize will be the next highest number of ice cream shops visited. On Saturday, May 24 (Memorial Day weekend), Sandy’s Harley-Davidson will be hosting their first Bike Night of the season with live music, food, a fly-over, and a flag retirement and plaque presentation by Rolling Thunder. Volunteers are needed for the HOG table. From 3 pm to 7 pm.
The May Chapter Social Gathering will be on Sunday, May 25th, at The Depot in Grant. Breakfast starts at 8:30 am, Chapter updates at 9:30 am. The Depot is located at 22 W. Main in Grant. Weather permitting, there will be a ride after.
Also on Sunday, May 25, you can join the 2025 Nationwide Ride for Freedom, bringing awareness to POW/MIA’s, veterans and their families. The ride leaves leaves the American Legion Boat & Canoe Club in Grand Rapids (401 N. Park St. NE, Grand Rapids 49525) at 8 am and, after a short stop at the Belding War Memorial, heads to the State Capitol. See the flyer on the chapter website for more details.

On Saturday, May 24 (Memorial Day weekend), Sandy’s Harley-Davidson will be hosting their first Bike Night of the season with live music, food, a fly-over, and a flag retirement and plaque presentation by Rolling Thunder. Volunteers are needed for the HOG table. From 3 pm to 7 pm.
The May Chapter Social Gathering will be on Sunday, May 25th, at The Depot in Grant. Breakfast starts at 8:30 am, Chapter updates at 9:30 am. The Depot is located at 22 W. Main in Grant. Weather permitting, there will be a ride after.
Also on Sunday, May 25, you can join the 2025 Nationwide Ride for Freedom, bringing awareness to POW/MIA’s, veterans and their families. The ride leaves leaves the American Legion Boat & Canoe Club in Grand Rapids (401 N. Park St. NE, Grand Rapids 49525) at 8 am and, after a short stop at the Belding War Memorial, heads to the State Capitol. See the flyer on the chapter website for more details.
On Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, we will meet at the Bridgeton Bridge at 8:45 am for the Memorial Wreath Drop. Rich K. will be leading a ride following the event, leaving from Sandy’s at 10 am. Please note that Sandy’s will be closed for Memorial Day.
Sunday, June 1st, is the Catholic Central Graduation Run with Muskegon HOG. Our group will be leaving Sandy’s at 4:30 pm, arrive at Hot Rod by 5:15-5:30, then leaving with the grads at 5:45. Bring an extra helmet for a passenger please. If you don’t have a spare, Sandy’s has some we can borrow.
On Saturday, June 7, Nozzleman M/C Chapter 7 are hosting their annual charity poke run with dinner, raffles, music, cash bar, auction, and a 50/50. Help Bryan and his crew as they raise money to support the Morley Area Fire Department. Leaving Sandy’s Harley-Davidson at 12 Noon, pre-register at least 30 minutes prior. We are ordering chapter T-shirts again! They are American-made, 100% cotton, black T’s with our chapter name on the back. They are available in sizes Small to 4X. The minimum order is 24 and we’d like to get it sent in after the next social gathering on April 27. Orders must be pre-paid in cash. Thanks to everyone who came out to help with Sandy’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt. It was an awesome event and the biggest turnout ever! And it couldn’t have happened without all the volunteers and donations. There were a lot of happy kids – THANK YOU!
